I am an artist from Zurich who primarily works with music and video. In my work, I celebrate everyday life. I search for stories in my daily experiences, and play with their placement in artistic contexts. Besides my interest in documenting the seemingly ordinary and the intimate, other recurring themes in my art are relationships, especially between humans and dogs, and how I deal with grief, loss and identity. I like to playfully engage with language: in my videos through the use of subtitles, and in my music through song lyrics.

Patricia Meier (*1997, Manila, PH) lives and works as an artist and musician in Zurich. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Music (Composition) and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK), graduating with distinction and receiving the ZHdK Graduate Award Fine Arts. In her artistic practice, she combines sound, video, and language, with a focus on everyday moments. Her works have been shown, among others, as part of the Kiefer Hablitzel | Göhner Art Prize 2025 at Art Basel.
Her work moves between installation, video, and performative elements. Recurring themes include relationships between humans and objects, between humans themselves, and between humans and animals. Her work revolves around questions of identity, loss, and recollections.
As a musician, Patricia Meier is frequently involved in collaborative projects. She plays keys, clarinet and sings in the band “Kleid” and has her own (solo) band project as “patricia”. She likes working on intermedial projects (theatre, performance, etc.), and values working processes that bring together different artistic languages.
